When you think of cosmetic dentistry, most people think of porcelain veneers. But cosmetic dentistry also includes crowns, invisible (white) fillings, teeth whitening, and gum re-contouring.
White Fillings / Invisible Fillings
Sometimes tooth decay can be restored with invisible (white) fillings. There are two types of “invisible” fillings – plastic and porcelain. Plastic fillings are made of white composite resin. This allows them to blend in naturally with your teeth. They are not as strong as porcelain fillings.
Porcelain Fillings / Onlays
Sometimes a tooth can crack or decay to the point where a resin filling will not be strong enough to restore it. In these cases porcelain fillings (onlays) are used to strengthen the teeth. The longevity of porcelain onlays far exceeds resin fillings.
Dental Veneers / Porcelain Veneers
When tooth decay is more extensive, or you are concerned about the appearance of your teeth, porcelain veneers are the best option. Veneers are thin porcelain shells that cover up stained and decayed teeth. We can enhance the appearance of just one tooth OR multiple teeth to give you a brand new smile.
Crowns
If you have cracked or crowded teeth and you would like them to look straighter, we can achieve that with crowns. Crowns are porcelain “caps” that cover your teeth and strengthen them.

Teeth Whitening / Teeth Bleaching
If your teeth are fairly straight but you would like them to look whiter, our in-office one-hour teeth whitening is a simple way to achieve your goal. We place a prescription strength gel on your teeth, you lie back in the chair and watch a movie! The process takes about one hour and we also give you teeth whitening trays to take home, so that you can touch up your teeth whenever you want. They're great to use right before important events like a job interview or a wedding.

Gum re-contouring
Some people are unhappy with the shape and appearance of their gums. In these cases we use a laser to reshape your gums to get rid of a “gummy” smile.
