Veneers

Porcelain veneers or dental veneers are thin porcelain shells that cover up the unaesthetic appearance of teeth. They are used to restore stained or chipped teeth, and can even improve the appearance of crowded teeth. Unlike bulky crowns that were common 10 years ago, today's dental veneers can be as thin as a fingernail, and their translucency makes them very natural looking and attractive.

If you are unhappy with the shade and appearance of your teeth, porcelain veneers can be a life changing solution. By placing these thin porcelain shells on the surface of the teeth, you come out having a bright, straight, and natural looking smile.

Teeth whitening is a great way to brighten the appearance of your teeth, but it does not change the teeth shape or crowded appearance of your teeth. Dental veneers are great because they do not wear down like natural teeth do, and they are very resistant to staining, so you never have to whiten your teeth ever again!

Veneers are also very thin, so they are gentle on your teeth and rarely cause sensitivity. And since they are made out of a very biocompatible material, porcelain, your body adapts to them very easily.

How do I get dental veneers?
We start by taking digital photos of your smile. We then discuss your goals and your ideal smile. You can bring in pictures of smiles that you find attractive. Next, we take impressions of your teeth and design your new smile with a master ceramist. These people are highly trained artists who are experts at smile designs. Once we have your smile design back from the ceramist, we shape your teeth to accept the dental veneers, and in a few weeks, we place the final veneers. From the initial consultation to your new smile, it usually takes about six weeks.
