 Dr. Koppikar graduated with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Marketing from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1996. He earned his DDS from Marquette University in 2000. He received special training at Louis Stokes Veterans Administration in Cleveland, OH where he gained considerable experience treating patients with complicated needs. After practicing in Illinois and Wisconsin, Dr. Koppikar moved to Arizona for the great weather and quality lifestyle.
Dr. Koppikar is very passionate about dentistry because "by improving people's smiles you can improve their lives". Dr. Koppikar likes to focus on family and cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is one of the few dentists in the country who have completed advanced training in cosmetic dentistry. Staying on top of the latest innovations in general and cosmetic dentistry is important to Dr. Koppikar, so he attends several continuing dental education courses each year.
Dr. Koppikar is an adjunct faculty member at the Arizona School of Dentistry and volunteers once a month at the CASS Dental Clinic in Phoenix. He was recently elected to the Board of the Central Arizona Dental Society and elected as a delegate to the Arizona Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Koppikar likes to go hiking, golfing, and fishing as well as spend time with family and friends - especially his beautiful wife Maya and their adorable baby girl - Karina.
