Dr. Koppikar is a board certified Doctor of Dental Surgery. He received degrees in psychology and marketing from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He earned his DDS from Marquette University in 2000. He received advanced training at Louis Stokes Veterans Administration in Cleveland, Ohio gained valuable experience treating patients with complicated needs. After practicing in Illinois and Wisconsin, Dr. Koppikar moved to Arizona for the great weather and quality lifestyle.

Dr. Koppikar is very passionate about dentistry because "by improving people's smiles you can improve their lives." He has completed advanced training in cosmetic dentistry with some of the best dentists in the world. He is also one of only eight dentists in Arizona who is on medical staff at the Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center. This gives his patients the option of having extensive dental reconstruction done under general anesthesia.

Dr. Koppikar is an adjunct faculty member at the Arizona School of Dentistry and volunteers once a month at the CASS Dental Clinic in Phoenix. He was recently elected to the Board of the Central Arizona Dental Society and elected as a delegate to the Arizona Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Koppikar likes to go hiking, golfing, and fishing as well as spend time with family and friends - especially with his beautiful wife Maya and their adorable kids Karina and Kaidin.
